Untimely demise of our lovely colleague Shri R.C.Bairwa Shri R.C.Bairwa, TGT Bio of KV New Bongaigaon has left us forever and gone to heavenly abode. The whole Vidyalaya family is shocked at his sudden demise. Shri Bairwa was a very dynamic person with abundant enthusiasm. He was also an active Scout Master. May his soul rests in peace |

Tribute to Dr. Bhupen Hazarika The members of the Vidyalaya are deeply shocked and aggrieved at the sad and sudden demise of Dr. Bhupen Hazarika, a Legend of Assam and pray to the almighty for the eternal peace of the departed soul and to give enough strength to the bereaved family to bear this irraparable loss. Members observed two minutes silence on 5th Nov, 2011. |

Vaccination for measeles District Administration of Bongaigaon District Organised a Vaccination Camo in KV New Bongaigaon for its students on 17/11/2011. All the students upto 10 years of age were vaccinated. A team of Doctors and nurses visited the Vidyalaya. The programme was conducted very smoothly. |

Book Fair- 2011 A Book Fair has been organized in the Vidyalaya on 16/11/2011. Principal Ms. S.Toppo has inaugurated the Book Fair in the Library of the Vidyalaya. Shri S.B.Pandey, Librarian of the Vidyalaya Has organized the Book fair. Many books were displayed in the Library. Teachers and students visited the Book fair |

Celebration of Children Day-2011
Children day is Celebrated in a colourful way in the Vidyalaya. The Principal Ms Salomi Toppo inaugurated the celebration in the Morning Assembly. She has garladed the Photo of Jawaharlal Nehru and lighted the ceremonial Lamp. Students and Teachers has spoken in the morning assebly about the traditions and importance of the day. Fancy dress competition was organized among the Primary students which was very colourful and enjoyable. House wise Volley ball competition was organized among the students of secondary students. The winner Team Shivaji House played with the Teachers' Team where Teachers' Team became the winner. Sweets were Distributed among the students. |

Scouts & Guides Activity--- Pravesh, Pratham Sopan and Dwitiya Sopan Testing Camp A whole day Testing cum activity Camp was organized in the Vidyalaya on 06-11-2011 131 Scouts and Guides participated in the Camp. All the Scout Masters and Guide Captains also participated to make the Programme a grand Success. The Camp was inaugurated at 8.00 am with flag Break where Ms. Salomi Toppo, Principal of the Vidyalaya was present as the Chief Guest. It was a Training, Testing and Adventure camp. All Tests were conducted as per APRO Pt II & II. Pioneering activities were conducted in the later half of the day. Students prepared many beautiful and camp utility gadgets. The programme came to an end with the lowering of the Flag at 4.30 pm. |

Cub - Bulbul Activity : Visit to Echo Park Students of KV New Bongaigaon Visited Echo Park- a park nerer to the VIdyalaya on 02-11-2011 All the Cubs and Bulbuls escorted by Scout Masters and Guide Captains successully arranged the whole day programme. Students enjoyed a share lunch programme and performed adventure activities in the Park. They played, sang song, danced and enjoyed the day in the best suitable way they like. |
