COMMON MINIMUM PROGRAMME ( CMP)
CMP IS A COMPUSORY PROGRAMME FOR STRENGTHENING PRIMARY EDUCATION IN KENDRIYA VIDYALAYAS.
Apart from regular classroom education and CCE(Continous and Eomprehensive Evaluation), many indoor and outdoor activities are to be followed as a part of Primary education.
These are, Parents - Teachers Meeting
Community Lunch
Grand Parents Day
Educational Tour etc.

| 1 | 08-07-2001 | Cluster Level CMP Meeting | This meeting was held at KV New Bongaigaon where teachers from all 07 Vidtalayas of the Cluster participated. The planning of CMP activities and progress was discussed. It was a day long programme. |
| 2 | 30-07-2011 | Van Mahotsav | Students of KV New Bongaigaon participated in a Tree plantation programme in the KV itself. Teachers explained the students about the importance of Trees. |
| 3 | 27-08-2011 | Parents Teachers Meeting for Class V | During these Parents Teachers meeting, the progress and problems of the students were discussed individually. Necessary suggestions and guidance were also given to the parents. |

| 8 | 23-08-2011 to 09-09-2011 | Medical Check up | A team of doctor and nurses checked up the health -like the weight, height and other necessary things of the students. a card was prepared for the students where necessary suggestions were given to the parents regarding the general health of the child. |
| 9 | 9-11-2011 | Grand Parents Day | It was a memorable day. The respect and honour to the grand parents were shown by the family of KV New Bongaigaon. Sing song programme was also held on the occasion. |
| 10 | 14-11-2011 | Bal Divas | In view of the Childrens day, fancy dress competition and many other competitions were also held. Studens participated with full enthusiasm and day was a wonderful one. |
