1. Cluster Level Social Science Exhibition was held on 08-08-2008 in our school. This event was innogurated by our Chairman Mr. P. Ravi Kumar,CWM N.F.Railway, New Bongaigaon, Assam.

9. School has organised The PLANTATION Program in Aug 2007, Miss Salomi Toppo, Principal, KV New Bongaigaon, Mr. Shashikant Shrivastav, Forest Officier, Dr. Sanjay Kumar and other Teacher and Students of the Vidyalaya planted trees.

Annual Sports Day was conducted on 11th January 2009 in a very colorful way. Distinguished Chief Guest of the day was Chairman Shri Ravi Kumar (C.W.M, N.F. Railway, New Bongaigaon). The children of all age groups participated. Sports and games activities were conducted in seven age groups of A, B, C, D, E, F and G. In addition to this inter-house matches were conducted names Shivaji House, Tagore House, Ashok House and Raman House. The result of the sports day at glance:

• Overall Champion House  - Raman House.
• 1st Runners up House     - Ashok House.

5 Scouts and 5 Guides of KV NBQ were participated in Tritiya Sopan Testing Camp, which was held at KV Maligaon from 28th July to 31st July 07 escorted by Mr. S.C. Shukla and Mrs. A. Vishnoi.

• 4 Scouts and 3 Guides of this Vidyalaya participated in Pre Rajya Purashkar at KV CRPF, Guwahati from 4th to 5th Sept’ 07 and Rajya Purashkar at KV Khurda Road for Scouts and KV Gopalpur  8th to 12th Sept’07 escorted by Debarati Choudhury and Mr. S. C. Shukla.
• 3 Scouts 2 Guides participated in Divisional Rally at KV IIT Guwahati, from 14th to
  16th Dec’ 07. Escorted by Debarati Choudhury and Mr. S. C. Shukla.
• 2 Guides of this Vidyalaya participated in State Rally held at KV Pitampura N. Delhi from 20th 24th Dec. 07 and Special National Jambooree at New Delhi 25th to 31st Dec. 07 Escorted by Debarati Choudhury of KV New Bongaigaon.
• Cub – Bulbul Utsav was celebrated on 22-02-08 at Vidyalaya premises by the Cubs & Bulbuls of our Vidyalaya. The cubs and bulbuls enjoyed in all the competitions and games very enthusiastically. Meal was served to the children. Many of the group songs were sung by the cubs and bulbuls and ended over the programme by National Anthem.

1. On 17th November 2007 the one day Refresher/Training course of Nodal Teachers under National Adolescence Education Programme was held at Kendriya Vidyalaya New Bongaigaon, teachers from New Bongaigaon Cluster schools attended the training. There were four sessions on different topics, Dr. D. Sharma, C.M.O. B.R.P.L Hospital, offered a lecture on Adolescent’s Reproductive and Sexual Health. Dr. S. C. Paramhans from Railway Hospital delivered a talk on RTIS/STIS/HIV/AIDS. After the lunch break Dr. B. L. Sharma, a renowned educationalist of Bongaigaon, offered a lecture on prevention of “Substance Abuse” the last session was of Life Skills by Miss Vinita Vidyarthi, PGT (Chem.), Regional Master Trainer, on the whole, it was an enlighten programme, which was helpful and beneficial for the trainees.
2. On 22nd January 2008 an Advocacy Programme was held for the students of class IX and XI. In this Doctor Sanjay Kumar a renowned doctor of New Bongaigaon, delivered a lecture on HIV AIDS and ARSH.
3. On 26th February 2008 an Advocacy Programme for parents, was also held in K.V. New Bongaigaon. Dr. Mrs. Rita Paramhans of Railway Hospital delivered a lecture on the needs requirements of Adolescents.

Besides these, several class room sessions were held on different topics like Peer Pressure, Life Skills Development, and Substance Abuse. Quiz, Brainstorming sessions and role play, were held in the Vidyalaya for the students of class IX and XI.
