21ST ANNUAL DAY FUNCTION (Dated:24-04-2008)

Kendriya Vidyalaya New Bongaigaon celebrated the Annual Day on 24th April-2008. The chief Guest of the function was Shri. P. Ravi Kumar, CWM, N. F. Railway & Chairman, VMC, KV New Bongaigaon the first programme, after the arrival of the Chief Guest was a Prayer Song. After that the Chief Guest along with the other guests were felicitated by the Principal Ms S. Toppo. The function was then inaugurated by the Chief Guest Shri. Ravi Kumar, by lighting the lamp. After the inauguration the Principal Ms. S. Toppo presented the Annual Report, before the audience. After the Prize Distribution Ceremony a colorful cultural programme was presented by the Students of KV New Bongaigaon. The cultural programme, Started with the Sarasawati Vandana – After that –The tiny tots of KV New Bongaigaon. Presented a welcome song. It was followed by a series of fascinating items likes. Bodo Dance, Hindi Skit, Kawali, Marathi dance, Group song, Ravindra Niritya, English Skit, Sanskrit group song, Dance drama, English Action song, Bhangra etc. After the speech by the chief Guest, Shri Muveen, PGT (Hindi) offered the vote of Thanks. The Annual Day Function came to an end with the National Anthem.
